What do you get when you start with a pillow form ...

Add some striped fabric ...

and a vintage tea towel ...

some embroidery floss ...

and a fun pattern for a cat?

I'm a bit behind ...

... and I did not meet the deadline, obviously! As of right now, my sister's pillow looks like this:

But I did get a piece of vintage fabric in Chicago last week that I plan to use ... as soon as I can figure out what to embroider on it and find some fabrics to add to it.  Pinterest and I are not great friends, but I think I might just pay her a visit this afternoon ...

So, after purchasing the pillow form from Zimman's the only other purchase I made for  this project was the pattern transfer pencil!
